CAN I SUBSCRIBE FOR A SINGLE TRIP?

WILL I INCUR COSTS WITHOUT KNOWING HOW MUCH IT WILL TOTAL?
We are very up front about all costs and always include some intervention time (amount depends on your size of operation) in our annual subscription fee so that you don’t have to worry about incurring costs as soon as you call.
WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A SUBSCRIPTION RETAINER FOR YOU TO BE ON CALL?
We keep our retainer fees to a minimum so you are not paying a large sum for a service you may not need to use. Having worked in the travel and education sectors ourselves, we know how important it is to keep costs manageable but to to have high quality expertise at hand in the event of an emergency. It is important we know as much as possible about your systems and procedures when you sign up with us so we ask for and review these in advance upon subscription. This review and keeping our team on standby ready to help you in the event of an incident costs money; we obviously need to cover these costs.
CAN I USE THE INCLUSIVE HOURS FOR ANYTHING?
Yes. We always include intervention time in our subscriptions but it is up to you what you use this time for. You can save it for an incident or use it for crisis management preparedness, such as reviewing your crisis plans.
I ALREADY HAVE AN INHOUSE DUTY SYSTEM, WHY DO I NEED PHAROS RESPONSE?
Lots of our clients still retain their in house duty system but know that it is difficult to ensure that all calls are answered 100% of the time due to poor mobile reception or being on the phone with other calls. Pharos Response adds resilience to in-house duty systems and reduces pressure on duty staff. Any missed emergency calls bounce seamlessly across to our team to answer and then support through the incident as required.
WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE?
All calls are answered by trained incident managers with uniformed service and global travel crisis management experience.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THEY ARE ALL ALREADY ON THE PHONE?
It hasn’t happened yet but if all incident managers are for any reason unavailable, your call will be picked up by our overflow call centre staff who will be able to take all details and ensure we are notified immediately. It will then be our own experts who provide the return call.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We find that there are significant differences between the support our clients need so a set price is hard to provide. However, the annual subscription to our 24/7 Emergency Response service with one hour of included intervention time and a critical incident audit starts at £995 plus VAT. Contact us for details.
