Handsam Ltd provide systems, services and expert advice for schools, colleges, academies and Trusts in health and safety and other compliance matters. The relationship between Pharos and Handsam goes back over 10 years when Julian Penney and Handsam’s founder Chris Lowe collaborated on incident response workshops for school leaders within the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL). Pharos provides a range of services to Handsam’s clients including security audits, critical incident support, EVC training and offsite visit advice.
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office’s (FCO) ‘Know Before You Go’ campaign was an obvious organisation for Pharos to partner with. Along with some 400 other organisations, Pharos supports the FCO’s fabulous messages regarding safe travel and awareness for British nationals travelling overseas. The annual event held at the Foreign Office for Know Before You Go partners is always a useful opportunity to meet with key FCO officials and other similar minded professionals.
The Year Out Group is an association of leading year out organisations that was formed in 1998 to promote the concept and benefits of well-structured year out programmes, to promote models of good practice and to help young people and their advisers in selecting suitable and worthwhile projects. Pharos has an exciting partnership with the YOG that involves supporting centralised YOG training and discounted services to Member organisations.
The Association of British Climbing Walls (ABC) is a not for profit members’ organisation for over 135 individual climbing wall operators. Pharos has an exciting partnership with ABC that involves supporting centralised ABC training and discounted services to Member organisations.
Travel PR Ltd. Travel PR provides a range of specialist services for the travel industry, from traditional communications and public reaction support to marketing, training and event management. Working with Pharos, Travel PR provides our clients with additional support in the event of a major incident needing greater press handling telephone lines and human resource.
