The Pharos Response 24/7 incident service provides a lifeline of support for youth organisations in the event of a critical incident or complex issue, which includes but is not limited to safeguarding. Thanks to EFL Trust, all football club CCOs can now benefit from access to highly experienced crisis, safeguarding and issues management experts 24/7, whenever you need them, for just £70+VAT per month.
The Pharos team is well known in the sector through its work with NYA, NCS and HAF alongside other youth programmes. The team has supported many youth organisations through their darkest days, including coach crashes, customer and staff deaths, serious life-changing injuries, serious staff safeguarding breaches and arrests, missing young people and mass behavioural issues. All of these incidents and others have the risk of bringing your good reputation into disrepute if you don’t respond effectively enough. Pharos can provide the expertise and resource to help you achieve this.
Please do remember that the Pharos team will only provide incident support to customers who already have a live subscription to the Pharos Response 24/7 service.

Your EFL Trust discount entitles you to choose from either Silver or Gold service options.
Silver is the standard service that enables your central CCO on-call or ‘duty’ team to access Pharos incident advisers 24/7 when they feel they need additional incident management support, intervention or advice.
Gold is for clubs who want to provide direct access to specialist Pharos incident advisers for coaches, sessional and all other staff, 24/7. Incident advisers will then report details of the incident to the CCO and provide ongoing incident management support, intervention and advice as necessary.
When you call us, our incident advisers will help you to contain the immediate situation you are facing if required. They will then introduce you to our incident escalation managers, as required to support your incident response, checking you’ve thought of everything while plugging any knowledge or resource gaps, whether logistical, H&S, comms and PR, social media or trauma aftercare. You can lean on us as much or as little as you like or the incident demands.
Experienced incident support
Pharos incident advisers typically have a uniformed services background combined with experience of working with young people, often in an adventurous or sporting capacity. They will have seen most incidents before so they are well placed to provide immediate, practical containment advice.
The incident adviser who takes your call can then initiate specialist intervention services 24/7 as required to suit your situation and needs. These services can include crisis PR support, social media monitoring and advice, strategic incident management mentoring, safeguarding second opinions, trauma aftercare, health and safety counsel and incident investigations.

Silver: Provides peace of mind that specialist support is available 24/7 to your on-call staff at a minimal cost.
